We’ve teamed up with Staffordshire County Council to give away the prize of a perfect wedding day at County Buildings in Stafford worth £2,000

Located in the heart of Stafford, County Buildings is a magnificent Grade II listed building which provides an elegant setting for a unique and distinctive wedding ceremony and reception.The building, which opened in October 1895, is available on an exclusive hire basis so you can celebrate in total privacy with your friends and family.

There are five elegant rooms of varying size and character to choose from and a dedicated team is on hand to help you choose the best option to suit your requirements. Whether you want an intimate setting for a party of 25 in The Members’ Library or a grand celebration with 100 held in The Council Chambers, there are plenty of options to choose from.

When it comes to photographic locations, County Buildings offers a wide variety. The magnificent 12-foot-wide sweeping staircase offers a breathtaking backdrop for a grand entrance, while the lobby has a stunning ornate stained glass dome and period feature fireplace – not to mention the two decorative antique crystal chandeliers which hang as focal points in two of the rooms.County Buildings is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships. Packages range from ceremony only to a ceremony and the use of the venue for receptions, which also include the registrar fees. They can provide options ranging from champagne and canapes to afternoon tea or an evening function. Ceremonies are available on a Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

One lucky couple will win a wedding worth up to £2,000. The prize includes the venue hire for four hours during the day, notice fees for both of you and registrar costs as well as canapes and prosecco for up to 60 guests after the ceremony, including the couple.
